SZA shared her hopes of one day starting a family and discussed whether or not she wants to become a mother. SZA’s Daughter name is Solana.

The 34-year-old singer of “Kill Bill” made the admission to hosts Dr. Thais Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney on the SHE MD podcast that she approached the topic of foster care and co-parenting with her best friend.

“Well, I inquired of my best friend to see if she would join me in doing it. SZA shared, “She said no.”

“Because we’ve got too much to do. Yet, I will attempt to improve her up. She’s my best pal, but on the other hand she’s the savviest individual, so it’s like regardless of whether we wind up bringing up a youngster together like through an administration focal point, I will drive her to co-parent with me as my phony co-parent.”

SZA had an 11-year relationship with her previous fiancé. She doesn’t frequently remark on her past relationship, yet has shared a couple of pieces en route about him.

SZA revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe in December that she got into music because of her eight-year-old ex-fiancé, who supported her financially.

“truly just did music to make a statement,” she said. ” Right when I started making music, it was to my ex, since he was paying for everything. My food, my garments, where I resided — and he was eight years my senior, so I was so mutually dependent.”

At the 2024 Grammy Awards in February, SZA’s song “Snooze” won the award for best R&B song. The musician was clearly taken aback by her victory as she delivered her acceptance speech.

“It’s the finish of everything. Even Lizzo was lost in the moments preceding that, oblivious to what was going on. When I finally saw her, I thought, “Oh.” SZA exclusively told PEOPLE about the onstage incident. “I was realizing what was happening.”

“I was truly stunned and exceptionally disappointed and fundamentally endeavoring to not miss my honor,” she included.
